As you have already seen in various media, CO2 emission classes will be introduced as a new tariff feature for tolls in Germany from December 1, 2023.As a result, a surcharge of € 200.00 per ton of CO2 will be levied for the truck toll.
This measure has an impact on our calculation for trucking pre- and on-carriage in combined transport as well as on the calculation parameters for conventional container transport via direct truck.
The toll rate per kilometer subject to toll will be increased from €0.28 per kilometer today to €0.42 per kilometer.
We will show the corresponding increase separately on the invoice as a "road pricing" service.
In the coming year, the toll will already be included in the offers and price lists as usual.
Furthermore, the diesel surcharge will be fixed at 14% from today until the end of the year.
There will be no changes on the Austrian market.
